Manila Xiamen International School
Manila Xiamen International School was established in 1993 as the first international school in Xiamen. It is a non-stock and non-profit independent, co-educational day and boarding school offering Pre-K to Grade 12. It is an IB World School authorized by the International Baccalaureate to offer the Diploma Programme for Grades 11 and 12 and the Middle Years Programme for Grades 6-10. MXIS aims to help create a better and more peaceful world through education. Its philosophy of holistic education promotes strong academic foundation, leadership skills, a scientific attitude, concern for others and the environment, and fluency in at least two international languages.
